I don't know who needs to hear this, but it is OK to vote with your feet and leave a terrible situation.
Would the "stay and fight" and "only losers leave" folks apply that logic to abusive relationships, toxic environments, unbearable employers, and the like? I think not.
Those who have the ability to leave an undesirable or dangerous scenario should do so. Your life is yours to spend in the environment you choose, and your safety and well-being are of utmost importance.
