Remember that the women across the border have already thought about you needing a place to stay if you need to flee for reproductive health care. We have your back.

It's entirely predictable that damaging the fertility of generations of women is going to affect the future birth rates.

BRITT BILL WOULD CREATE FEDERAL DATABASE TRACKING PREGNANCIES

Alabama Senator Katie Britt, best known for delivering a bizarre, melodramatic televised response to President Biden's 2024 State of the Union address, has introduced a bill to create a federal website to collect data on pregnant people.

Patients “are being harmed in significant ways because care is being denied or delayed,” said Daniel Grossman, a professor at UCSF and the lead author of the report. “These laws are having a broader impact beyond people who are seeking abortion because they have an undesired pregnancy.”

Why we donate to Cobalt and Planned Parenthood.

The 22% increase in the number of abortions that occurred in Colorado from 2021 to 2022 was due to the surge in patients from other states. Colorado saw a 500% increase in patients from Texas.

Abortion clinics told The Colorado Sun they are seeing unprecedented demand for abortions later in pregnancy.

Patients are getting abortions later in their pregnancies in part because they must plan to drive several hours or buy plane tickets. On top of that, wait times for appointments grew since the Texas law took effect and the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the constitutional right to an abortion, opening the door for states to ban or restrict access to the procedure.

“When people don’t want to be pregnant, they will seek abortion care all over the country,” said Adrienne Mansanares, Planned Parenthood of Rockys CEO. “It doesn’t subside because of these terrible laws.”

The "stay and fight" and "only losers leave" mentality, when it comes to living in a fascist state such as Florida, Tennessee, Texas, etc., is simply not valid.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but it is OK to vote with your feet and leave a terrible situation.

Would the "stay and fight" and "only losers leave" folks apply that logic to abusive relationships, toxic environments, unbearable employers, and the like? I think not.

Those who have the ability to leave an undesirable or dangerous scenario should do so. Your life is yours to spend in the environment you choose, and your safety and well-being are of utmost importance.

Kate Cox is going to become 2024's Dred Scott if she returns to Texas.

That is how retrograde the white dominated fascist states are behaving and legislated in America, almost 200 years after Dred Scott.
