PSA: Imagination is not just for kids. The idea that adults shouldn't day dream, play, and just generally using their imagination is, imo, a tool of #Capitalist socialization and #Oppression to stunt the growth of #Revolutionary movements.
I often hear people reply to questions like this with phrases such as, "Well, that's just the way things are," or "Not everything is fair."
Sometimes, people who respond this way are actual #Facists , but I've found through many encounters that what's really happening is that many people simply can not imagine a different reality or world.
They have let their imagination muscles grow weak and atrophied, and as a result, it seems tiresome and ridiculous to even spend time attempting to imagine what things could be like in a world where people are treated with dignity and compassion.
