The beta release for version 2 of @skytemple Randomizer is out! It's completely rewritten in GTK 4 and Adwaita and runs on Linux (Flathub), macOS and Windows!

Thanks to Workbench, Blueprint Compiler and GNOME's HIG redesigning the UI was actually a lot of fun, and the new UX just feels so nice and satisfying to work with.

Next up is migrating the SkyTemple main app to GTK 4 as well!

Probably shouldn't bother writing that . It's probably going to take forever just to figure it out.

Sure, there's tutorials for , , , and , but where would you even start?

My first pull request to project (the and one) got merged yesterday.

I ported one of the demos, titled "View Switcher" to python which demonstrated how to use a Adw.ViewSwitcher (from ) using python and deleting certain elements from a Gtk.ListBox according to a button press.

Looking forward to learn language and maybe contribute to Vala ports or maybe write new demos in python?

🤔 Now I need a shelf for all the adapters I build for my new workbench. 💡 Fortunately I still have our old slatted frames. I have disassembled it and use some parts for my new shelf 👍.

Yesterday I finished the shelf. It has five slots for adapters I build and a separate space for clamps.

Today I finished the frame for the workbench 🔲. For the frame I used my old laminate I still had ♻️. I'm satisfied with the result 💪.

Okay okay okay so my 3D printer is still broken, but is it even a real workshop if you don't have at least one broken 3D printer?

If you still think fondly of and you don’t know yet, you should probably go to https://taws.ch right now. (Pixel perfect in a browser. You can even drag&drop your own files and look at them in Multiview). It is nothing short of amazing.
