Where are custom keyboard command sets stored? @NatureMC@eclectech When I was a child, we used to blow on the dandelion seed head and count how many puffs of breath it took to blow away all the seeds. That, supposedly told you the time. (e.g. three puffs equals 3 p.m.) Of course it didn't actually work but it was a fun game.
I'm going to have to step away from the dandelion fluff thread for a while, but big thanks to everyone sharing their names, and know that my future will definitely involve a dandelion spreadsheet leading to some kind of summary infographic 😆

@keepassxc Are there any issues with your Patreon account? My yearly support package is not working anymore and the money has been charged back. All tries to recover it failed and it does not seem to be a Patreon issue. It more seems like the support packages of the KeePassXC project have been removed completely. 😅
@keepassxc Yes but that does not make any sense to me. I re-added the same payment method and the error persists. Also other payments with this method are working just fine. I also get a confirmation from PayPal that the payment was processed and after a few hours Patreon is refunding the money. So I should I contact Patreon regarding this, right?
@cliffwade@Vivaldi I tried to use Vivaldi, but I stopped because there doesn’t seem to be a simple way of having different taskbar icons for different profiles, so you just end up with several of the same Vivaldi icons and not knowing which one relates to which profile.

I got my son a laptop for school. (Refurb T490s!) He's not super technical but, after watching his mom struggle with windows, he wants Linux. Here's the question. Do I install Ubuntu since most Linux software works with it and it's easy to admin or do I install something else? (I run Debian and BSD on my personal machines.) Thanks! #linux#distros#question
@ipxfong I no longer recommend Ubuntu for new Linux users for... multiple reasons
Debian is pretty solid and approachable with a simple GNOME desktop and compatible with a lot of stuff...it does pretty good with #Steam games and if Debian packages don't exist for what you want #Flatpak is much better than Ubuntu Snaps.
Another solid choice would be @elementary as it has a very approachable desktop environment and app support and @danirabbit has done some great work with it.
I would like to see if I can interact with my own writing and scribbles I have saved over the past years.

@erikkemp RAG is the term you're looking for. The easiest most popular way is using ollama as a base, that's a local model runner. As an interface with RAG openwebui is the most popular. Their GitHub has an installation guide that covers everything; https://github.com/open-webui/open-webui
