A watercolor painting of a blue-gray home with teal shutters by the windows. Between the garage and the front gate, two red calla lily bushes grow from wood planters.
The lily is called 百合 in Chinese, which is pronounced as bǎi hé, which has the symbolic meaning of "happy union for one hundred years”. The lily is the flower of love in China, therefor Chinese lilies are great presents for women on their wedding day.

My third, and final variation / attempt on the Mexican Hacienda. Really tried to improve the shadows and tones. It does look nice IRL with quite a lot of variation - hope the photo does it justice.
#watercolour#watercolor#art#painting#MastoArt For this painting, I tried to create an imaginary scene from a simple geometric drawing. I’m fascinated by the math of it all. Brushes: 1” hake, 6 round, and a small rigger. Colors: Cobalt Teal, Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Sienna, and a tiny amount of Payne’s Grey. Anyway, this was my fun for today. Enjoy! @WatercolourCurator
I hope everyone has a good Monday so far, over here it's cold (2°C) and I need more coffee.
Here's a work in progress for you, a butterfly appropriately called Comma. The outer side looks like a dried leaf, except for a white spot on the hind wings shaped like a C.
