I am going to try and organize an art tool/supply lending library at the art club I belong starting with just using the items while in the space. But I hope it will be something people can take home for a few days and return. People drop stuff off to giveaway, but some stuff would be better for sharing, allowing more people to benefit from these tools.
Things like screens, gelli plates, rollers, stretcher pliers, staple gun, heat gun, stamps, stencils, unused supplies, etc.

How are you with animals?

I tend to throw off the wrong vibe for people, but get along with even the iffy animals. Dogs that don't like most people warm to me.

Just wondering how much of that is autism and how much me. My dad hates animals.

‘United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) resolution calling on the Security Council to reconsider Palestinian membership to the UN passed on Friday.’


Reminder that this resolution does not make Palestine a UN member.

That requires a Security Council recommendation, which the United States vetoed.

This General Assembly vote determines that Palestine is qualified for UN membership, and gives Palestine more procedural righ

There are too many people (thinking about my own family especially) who take the information given, listen to the ‘smart mainstream’ news and consider themselves smart mainstream people.
They are so sure this makes them smart, but they NEVER ask further questions or look deeper. Like babies, they just open their mouths and take what’s given them…

    @fulanigirl SO much this. they could be saving money by purchasing homes and turning it into cooperative housing, land trust, or rent geared to income for low income people. Ive heard the mortgage lenders won’t finance coop housing mostly but governments could support it and work it through coop banks I’m sure. All that charity money could pay cash for many homes to securely house those they already support & are precarious. Charities should be working themselves out of a job or purpose.

    Listen, I get it if you hate Biden. I’ve hated him probably longer and more and for more reasons. But if you think they are all the same and your vote doesn’t matter, vote anyway for him & Dems party because the most vulnerable members of the US feel he gives them the best chance. Do it for them. Vote, and be loud and complain to all your reps and to the party, and hold them accountable. Stop the praise. It’s ghoulish at this point. Just vote, be loud and demand better from them the whole way.
