    Shatner has a rep for being a jerque but I had a week's worth of daily contact w him as a hotel worker in Sequoia Natl Pk & he was nothing but cool. Left a very generous tip.

    He also wrote a couple of pretty decent scifi books

    As someone who loves cooking Japanese food it's sad that I struggle so much to find shiso and mitsuba. Probably if I ventured into Vancouver or Richmond it would be easier, but the Asian shops here are not super well-stocked.

    After having such amazing success with leca and my monsteras and pothos I'm thinking maybe I can just grow my own? I don't need huge amounts, so a smol little pot would likely do just fine.

    Ordered some seeds off a gent on Salt Spring Island!

    I was taught from an early age to hold any object I was buying away from my body while shopping, lest I be accused of stealing. No under the arm holding of things, arms totally in front or to the side. I keep the receipt in my hand until I’m well out of the store. Any store. There are many different “talks” we have with our kids, not just the police talk.

    Our process works by standardizing owner names, the addresses at which they receive tax bills, and their corporate registration addresses. We then use network analysis software to identify connected owner names. More methodological details are available on the “About” page.     Why is it so hard for straight people on social media to say good things about the gender they supposedly like?

    I’m not referring to body parts. I mean the act of simply enjoying their company. You know, being around them and appreciating who they are.

    Generally speaking, I like feminine people. I like how they talk, how they interact with the world, and their sheer feminine energy. Being around them brightens my day.

    I'm bi & reflecting on your question from a place of finding certain ppl of all genders attractive

    I think maybe you're conflating sexual-romantic attraction (ie pheremones, oxytocin) with Liking (ie dopamine, common interests)

    In my life, I've been helplessly attracted to some real jerques & I've wished I were attracted to people I thought were awesome but just didn't turn my crank

    In toto, I think gender roles make things needlessly complicated

    Jeff is an atheist w open contempt for all religion. I'm a devout Episcopalian. I can handle his contempt if he can handle me pushing back sometimes.

    That sd, I mute freely when someone's posting crosses my boundaries - I've already lost plenty of friends/fam in the struggle vs Racism & Fascism so muting fash strangers doesn't hurt a bit 🖖🏼
