Destroying the planet we live on -- the only planet we can live on -- is of course totally legal and even supported and subsidised by governments around the world (including #Scotland's).

But PROTESTING against destroying the planet? That's illegal. That's very, very illegal. Don't even think about doing that.

This film exists. In fact, its a series. Its called Mad Max and was predicated on civilisation collapsing after war and environmental disaster. George Miller, its creator, assumed in conceiving of it that governments would do nothing to provide alternatives to the capitalist status quo which, if destroyed, would leave civilisation helpless until it destroyed itself.

It takes more than a website to keep the world going. It takes mass cooperation.

Okay, its a terrible picture and its not ironed cause its way too hot to iron. The pattern is straight, fabric is just bundled up under it.

by . Stitched on white 16ct aida fabric, using approx 370 metres of black DMC thread, 6 needles used. Final stitched area is - 55cm wide and 69cm high.

This was a labour of love, a challenge, a reward to myself, part of my journey.

Its done now.

If you're the kind of person who's always online you may have caught the recent discourse about this picture. Let me ask a question: how many colours do you see?

If you answered "two" you're wrong and are agreeing with bigots who see only two sexes and say "everyone really knows this".

There are actually multiple colours here but those who ignore minorities filter out the intermediate ones as if minorities didn't really count. Think about it.

Yesterday I went to have some sexy fun. When I arrived I was greeted by an elderly neighbour of the person I was visiting whose boiler had not come on and so she was sitting in the freezing cold.

It turned out she'd had her boiler serviced that morning and the engineer had turned her boiler's temp control down to zero. The boiler worked but it just wasn't going to start.

I adjusted the gauge and everything came on. Good deed done.

Help others. Its how we make this shit called life bearable.

You might find it amazing that a supposed medical report into the treatment of trans people didn't interact with ACTUAL TRANS PEOPLE. (It did interact with plenty of antis and treated them as neutral and reasonable.) But so much did NHS England's Cass Report not interact with actual, real trans people that it resorted to generating AI pics of them.

These bigots are literally making up people to get mad at.

In 1893 the anarchist Emma Goldman was arrested and imprisoned for giving a speech in NYC where she told hungry people to "take bread" from the rich if they would not give them work. Voltairine de Cleyre, her anarchist colleague, wrote an essay in her defence in which she urged people to take not bread but power.

When Elon Musk wrote out the sentence "cis is a heterophobic word" he proved that, in this world we all live in, you can be both the richest person alive AND stupid AF.

But it is the perfect example of the fact that anti-trans hate is based on not even understanding what you are talking about - nor even trying to. Its ignorance worn as a badge of pride.

If the same people go after trans rights, gay + lesbian rights and women's rights, and if these people are always traditionalists working in the cause of a strictly defined social conservatism, then isn't the problem that a patriarchy wants to control the sexual lives and gender expressions of others, to restrict personal freedoms and to create incarcerating and incarcerated lives?

The fight is between freedom and unfreedom.

A woman gains nothing when JK Rowling is gratuitously cruel to random trans women on the internet. It doesn’t gain a woman equal pay, opportunities in sport, protection from sexual violence or protection from misogyny. In fact, many women would say their experience of misogyny has increased markedly at the hands of Rowling fanboys. She is hurting real people, people who just want to live their lives in peace in order to claim some hollow victory by destroying all around her.

I want to make the case that its BLADE RUNNER.

We are supposed to think here that Deckard, the cop, the bounty hunter acting on authority, is the good guy.

Only he's not. He's a puppet, a stooge, inauthentic.

The good guys in Blade Runner are the replicants - created, artificial, self-determining, self-actualising, aware of their self-worth, authentic. They fight for their freedom against all comers.
