The worst thing about online learning is that everything has become a video. Every code tutorial. Every design tutorial. Nobody actually writes out a guide anymore.

It's just "hey guys welcome to my tutorial" and watching 10 minutes of content that mostly isn't relevant...

@Daojoan The documentation project at https://tldp.org was such a wonderful resource. A vast library of HOWTOs, guides and FAQs, all as txt and html, document history included. Last updated in... lemmecheck... 2015.

@serge @dukepaaron There was a time when I had high hopes in #AOC, but she soon spoiled that with her astoninglishly ignorant statements on #Israel. Since she's been marauding around with her #antisemitic goon #squad, she rather successfully managed to convince me that she's not merely ignorant, but actually evil.

This is just one more proof.

There has always been that virulent #antisemitism on the #left, but the sheer amount is still shocking. And the increasing aggressiveness, the rage.

    @SheDrivesMobility Als damals in den 80ern in Salzburg in der Alpenstraße McFett, wir wir es mehr oder weniger liebevoll nannten, das erste McDrive eröffnete, fanden wir es sehr unterhaltsam, dort mit dem Radl hinzufahren und - am besten im Konvoi - hintereinander zu bestellen, gemeinsam zu warten und abzuholen und uns dann zum Essen in den Gastgarten zu setzen.

    Es geht also auch anders ;-)

    I have never been able to wrap my head around this. If I applied for a job and was sent to prison, any job offer would go away. The idea that someone would still hire me as I sit in a jail cell is laughable. But if Trump is convicted and sent to prison, and he wins the election, he could theoretically be President of the United States and run the country from behind bars.
