yuzu kitsune tails, a purple haired fox girl, picks up samurai armor in a tower that's rapidly filling with lava. she jumps away from the rising lava and sticks her spear in the wall, doing a dashing twirl to get on top of it. she walks off the spear and into a new scene, fighting a ghost fox with armor and spear. it stabs and she jumps over, but is caught by a follow up stab. the ghost fox over extends and its ghostly powers wane, giving yuzu a chance to bop on its head

My mother in law died maybe five years ago but to this day I think about how she insisted (after she had just learned how to text people) that LOL meant “lots of love” so I’m explaining how it’s kind of the opposite, and asked her to show me the last person she texted it to and it was her friend saying her husband just passed away.

A few days ago I suddenly had a desire to port Super Mario 64 to the Gameboy Advance.

I quickly realised that a straight port was going to be impossible given that the GBA:

• Is about an order of magnitude slower than the N64
• Lacks a GPU or any sort of hardware parallelism (you get about 10 cycles per pixel, per frame to rasterise everything in software, and that's it)
• Has no hardware support for floating point maths

So, I guess I'm rewriting the whole thing from scratch.
