@UP8 I don’t mind the Tubi experience at all — commercials are less annoying and probably less frequent than YouTube tbh — but it’s hard to find anything good to watch

I did watch the entirety of Lovecraft Country, which is probably one of the best “prestige” HBO dramas I’ve ever seen, so I’m glad it’s around

I may be biased by my progressive leanings (no, scratch that, I'm definitely heavily biased by them) but it seems like we can reliably look to the young to see the direction we should be moving.

I still can’t believe this is really happening and Biden signed it into law.

The saving grace for the Biden administration is the deadline is after the elections so if TikTok actually ends up being banned or shutdown, it won’t have election consequences.

We’ve had MANY incidents of deep fake porn involving children and politicians are still twiddling their thumbs while taking massive donations from Nvidia (check out their 2023 lobbying budget compared to earlier years)

    Lots of acts of violence and threats against doctors and clinics for decades, but no laws passed to protect them. I agree many minimized the risk
