... the Court finds the FTC has not shown a likelihood it will prevail on its claim this particular vertical merger in this specific industry may substantially lessen competition. To the contrary, the record evidence points to more consumer access to Call of Duty and other Activision content. The motion for a preliminary injunction is therefore DENIED.
I've recently been playing some #IngressPrime when a friend told me I might like it...
I'm still not sure about all of the options on the game. I just got to level 5.
I went with the "blue team" that seems less of a favorite, seeing their numbers. I've been doing my best capturing portals and all that. I dunno if there's any players near me, but I'd love to learn more about the game! 😁
@PlaystationPixy it's a shame that so many people bounce off #Ingress when they start, but I also like that it's a bit “underground” and nerdy, and that everything isn't laid out on a plate for you, and that the game can be played in many different ways.
@nic yeah it's definitely a good game and has many layers and ways to play. I am enjoying it. But leveling does take quite some time! I'm still level 5 and I've been doing my best on foot to get portals, to keep them up and all that. 😊
@darth Frontier: Elite II - I never had an Amiga, but being a huge fan of Elite on the C-64 this was a reason to want one. I got to play it much later on the PC.
Fun fact - the Amiga version's actual executable file was only around 400 KB (uncompressed), its small size partly due to the entire game being written in assembly language while its universe was mostly procedurally generated.
@bobdendry I downloaded that the other day planning to play it with a mate of mine but realised we could cross play as he was on Xbox One. He’s got a Series X now so I’ll have to give it another shot!
Well it’s been a while! Thinking almost 2 months since I’ve been on here and social media in general. Needed some time to clear my mind and focus on some things.
Missed a lot of things in the #Gaming world since then!
Hope everyone is doing well and playing some #Games 😎🎮
People with a Nintendo Switch, what's your preference for docked vs handheld? Do you almost always do one or the other, does it depend on the game, does it depend on what you're doing while gaming? And if you also have a PS5 or Xbox X|S, what's your preference for games that are available on both that and the Switch?
@trixter I have some filters only visible via profile clicks to spare the TL, but don't remember what else I might have filtered to make for "Not run into this before with people followed + local" results.
I only see this reply, but checking it elsewhere... Okay, must be me filtering gaming bc of someone I follow overusing it several times a day. I don't remember half these things since they're out of sight ofc. Thanks for the reminder. 🙏
I'm trying to find a good prebuilt gaming PC and I'm really starting to hate reviews. Every time I find a computer I like, I find a bunch of reviews saying how bad it is.
Personally I just don’t have the patience to build my own computer. A big part of that is I was really particular about the case, I wanted the meshlicious small form factor case and small form factor cases are pain to set up efficiently. They did a great job putting it together cleanly and since they did such a good job it’s a lot easier for me to upgrade if I did it myself and did a less professional job.
HOW, Bobby?
Explain to me EXACTLY how Microsoft buying Activision Blizzard will ENABLE competition?
You ARE the “entrenched market leaders,” you unlikeable buffoon. #gaming
@Graham_LRR You see, sometimes people give money to companies that aren't actiblizz, and this is clearly wrong and needs government to step in and actively assist!
Wait, wrong paper. This is because the government won't let them do something, which is clear government overreach and the world would be better if the government stayed out of things!
It's one of those two, but the government is wrong and they need all the money!
