Every once in a while, I get a visit from a hummingbird, it looks at me and laughs and then it leaves. 😞 I've tried all kinds of things, and nothing seems to keep them around. I think they're just migrating and passing through for a visit.
The sun was shining so nicely today that I decided to take a long walk to the zoo and back. But because of that I didn't get to upload any new photographs - so this one here is something different this time: a puzzle that I created a while ago digitally from scratch. Hope you all have a nice relaxing weekend and maybe you're in the mood for some peaceful puzzle time :)
Nature is filled with beauty and also fascinating. Migrating Canada geese can fly 1,000 miles in just 24 hours, often returning to the same destination year after year.
Pretty Lavender plant in terra cotta pot, watercolor. I love everything about lavender, its scent, the sage green fronds and, of course, purple flowers.
Pulling the Docks - a conceptual shot using selective focus that depicts what it means when the docks are pulled. The coming of winter... I focused on those lovely bolts that hold the docks in place in the lake in the warm weather. Always sad to see them piled on the beach for months.
The #AnnenbergEstate, built in 1966, was a winter retreat for media mogul Walter #Annenberg. It hosted many world leaders and celebrities over the years. Now it is open to the public to visit the spectacular home and gardens.
Well, God said to Abraham, "Kill me a son"
Abe said, "Man, you must be putting me on"
God said, "No," Abe said, "What?"
God said, "You do what you want to, Abe. but
Next time you see me coming, you'd better run"
Abe said, "Where do you want this killing done?"
God said, "Out on that Highway 61"
I have a thing for #bears I saw them all the time where I used to live ...it was always a thrill. I guess my bear isn't very well-camouflaged. I wanted to make him look festive instead.
