Netanyahu acknowledges ‘tragic mistake’ in Israeli strike on Rafah that killed dozens
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel was investigating the strike that occurred the night before.
#Israel faced new condemnation Monday for strikes on the southern #Gaza city of Rafah that local health officials said killed at least 45 Palestinians, including displaced people living in tents that were engulfed by fire.
Sunday night’s attack, which appeared to be one of the war’s deadliest, helped push the overall Palestinian death toll in the war above 36,000.
“We pulled out people who were in an unbearable state,” said Mohammed Abuassa, who rushed to the scene in the northwestern neighborhood of Tel al-Sultan. “We pulled out children who were in pieces. We pulled out young and elderly people. The fire in the camp was unreal.”
The only violence being perpetrated in these protests is by cops and military personnel.
The only threat to the safety of students, Jewish and otherwise, is by administrators and their henchmen in blue and green.
Protesting the ongoing genocide being perpetrated by Israel on Palestinians is not antisemitic.
Many of those protesting and being arrested are Jews.
And most of this is being supported and carried out by Democratic officials, including being fully supported by the Zionist in Chief Joe Biden.
The Democrats keep trying to scare us about the threat to democracy represented by a second Trump administration, while the first Biden administration tramples basic individual rights.
We are tired of it. We will not support you. You are digging your own graves and for what? A genocidal cult?
Fuck the Guardian, I don’t care if George Monbiot found a flip flop stuck in a dolphin’s arse and felt sad. Fuck the #FinancialTimes, aren’t you supposed to report the money?
Life's to short to read or reply to tankies and armchair anarchists who think it's morally superior to sit out elections and make it easier for fascists to take power.
Voting is imperfect. Representative democracies are compromised. The systems are rigged. None of this means we shouldn't use every lever at our disposal to try to shift things.
@phil_stevens
Voting Democrat clearly doesn't shift things, though. If Dems do what #GenocideJoe is doing in #Gaza, and all but a few Dem congressmen support it, then there's no point in having Dems in power.
I hate being in the situation where my options are traitors (in the paid employ of a country doing #genocide) or the home-grown genocidal #oil capitalists.
Yanno, LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act, but also threw the war machine into high gear in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia...
We wouldn't need to bomb Yemen if they didn't need to stand up for Palestine, because we stopped Israel from committing genocide first.
In a heartrending scene, a young boy, consumed by immense grief, says his final goodbye to his siblings, unable to bear the sight of their lifeless bodies.

The writing is on the wall. The survivors will be forced into a different ghetto. Gaza will become a Jews only Blue ID only beachfront colony. It will probably be very posh. Some Palestinians with green IDs might get to work there as domestic servants and golf course and hotel staff. Eventually the Israeli government will decide the next ghetto is also a threat and they will bomb that too.
What they once did with bulldozers they do now with American bombs. The old way of relocating Palestinians by force and then taking their homes and land was too slow for the fascists running the country and left too many Palestinians alive.
The continuing news about Israel's genocide of palestinians and the unwavering support of America is maddening. The slow changing attitude of other countries is good but still wholly insufficient.
