Had this cute little guy show up last night to eat the fries that @Bianca threw out in the backyard just outside our back door.
He ate all the fries, and then afterwards grabbed the only porkchop bone that was left and toted it off to wherever he was staying in the woods I guess.
Kumquat, our 4 year old male cat, sat at the back sliding door and watched him the entire time.
Western (European) capercaillie, also known as a wood grouse. Captured from the frozen surface of Lake Inari in northern Finland. We have been cross-country skiing there for a week, sleeping in huts on numerous islands. It was cold and windy, with almost no sun at all. This guy might have been the only bird we saw this week!
Long-tailed tit. One of the cutest birds living in Poland. I took this photo almost 10 years ago, but recently it won a contest and will now show up in Google Chromecast (along with some other of my photos), so it might make sense to bump it up :)
"Black Bear In Autumn". A majestic creature, the American Black Bear … also known as Ursus Americanus … strolls out of the forest, stops, sits and gazes around his kingdom.

Animal fascinant !
Last year, the American Wild Horse Campaign (#AWHC) released an explosive investigative #report that detailed the devastating and deadly consequences of the Bureau of Land Management's ( #BLM ) cash incentive-based adoption program, known as the Adoption Incentive Program ( #AIP ). The AIP pays individuals $1,000 per #animal to #adopt up to four wild, unhandled BLM #mustangs and #burros a year.
But this is just the tip of the iceberg since many #KillPens directly ship #horses and #burros to #slaughter without ever advertising them. The true number of wild horses and burros entering the slaughter #pipeline as a direct result of the #AIP is likely much larger than what AWHC's investigation has uncovered to date.
It's obvious: Handing out cash to adopt #WildAnimals is a dangerous and fiscally irresponsible plan.
These fascinating creatures are often seen diving into the water to catch their food. The plunge can begin from up heights of even 65 ft in the air. Gulf Islands National Seashore FL.
Nature is filled with beauty and also fascinating. Migrating Canada geese can fly 1,000 miles in just 24 hours, often returning to the same destination year after year.
