On Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, the Zoo’s Humboldt penguins will be taking over the duties for the annual weather prediction on Groundhog Day.
The prediction will take place at 9 a.m. (before the Zoo opens to the public) at the Taylor Family Humboldt Penguin habitat. The Zoo’s Humboldt penguins waddle into the spotlight this year to make the winter (or spring!) weather prediction.
Afterward, the Zoo will announce the weather prediction for the public on its social media platforms and here on the website.
