Although the summer is back (I intent to go swimming tomorrow 😅 ), I already see autumn is just around the corner. Some leaves are already bright red. The picture is from last year, but they are already looking nearly the same already this year.
Caddo Lake Dawn - Right before sunrise the sky lit up with some wonderful colors against a silhouette of cypress trees in the lake. I also loved the nice reflections in the water of the trees and sky colors in this early morning capture on Caddo Lake.
For #MustangMonday we have the handsome young stallion known as Gideon, from the south Onaqui range. He is part of a rough crew of young bachelors who are regularly stirring things up, so this quiet pose in special. He is a powerful and formidable 4 yr. old.
A few summers ago I was walking through a meadow in Dog Canyon, Texas when I spotted this tiny, colorful wildflower blooming in the tall grasses. I thought it was beautiful in its simplicity.
A few years ago my buddy Andy Crawford invited me down to Louisiana to explore the swamps with him. It was great having a guided tour, and photographing places I'd never see without him showing me. There are no hiking trails here. if you don't have a boat and don't know the bayous, you're not getting here.
