Odds are really damned good that Trump's team is trying to get juror IDs into the public domain ... those direct quotes from soc. media posts absolutely makes it feasible to track some of them down.

And the reporters/journos are aiding and abetting.

If people truly understood the prevalence of fake accts & their activity on major soc. media platforms, they'd understand a couple of important things:

-The numbers mean nothing (follower counts, engagement, etc.). MSM really needs to understand this.

-This is the grift. The grotesquely false & inflated #'s are the drug major platforms used to addict people & dupe advertisers.

FWIW: I spent years--up to 100 hrs/wk--tracking fake networks & how platforms respond--or not--to them

Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, Gervonta Davis. What do these men have in common? They're all famous boxers... and they all have extensive histories of domestic violence against women.

On Assigned today I wrote about how the boxing world has stood up against trans inclusion on the principle that a man should never hit a woman, and how hollow that declaration is in the context of boxing repeatedly lionizing men who hit women.

Martial artist here ... since I was a very young child. Can't tell you how many times a brand-new male student would come in and say "I don't want to hit a woman." Though, I was voluntarily willing to spar with them.

In reality, it had nothing to do with not wanting to hit a woman. It had EVERYTHING to do with not wanting to be beaten in a match by a woman (when I did beat them, many of them quit coming to class).

These boxers are afraid of being bested by a trans person. That's it.

Wish MSM would stop talking about how Trump "must" juggle a "busy schedule."

  1. Running for President is OPTIONAL. He can stop any time.

  2. The man is under CRIMINAL indictment for trying to OVERTHROW US democracy (among other things).

  3. He's a rapist. Somehow that really important point keeps eluding discussion of him--or is discussed as an afterthought.

But, yeah, let's worry about poor Trump having to juggle his schedule. (read: extreme sarcasm)

Pundits absolutely do not grasp the fact that Trump's trial's value does NOT rest on whether or not it "moves voters" if he's convicted.

The VALUE is accountability.

The VALUE is a working system of law that functions--regardless of whom the person happens to be or what position that person holds.

Treating it like "no biggie" because voters APPEAR unmoved is great messaging -- for Trump.

To be clear: I'm normally in favor of trying to see the best in people. Even second chances in many (though, not all) cases.

But there MUST be a line. When clear, ethical lines are repeatedly crossed, "benefit of the doubt" dies.

Extremely relieved to be a new grandma. My daughter and grandbaby are safe and healthy (it ended up being a high risk pregnancy).

So, apologies for my lack of engagement for the last few days. She was in labor for over 40 hours. Yikes.

Side-note: I was the only one in that delivery room and post-birth room that wore a mask--not the doc, not the nurses, etc. (Though, I did see a few regular folks wearing masks in other places in the hospital.) I knew to expect it, but it was still f*cked up.

The tornadic weather tonight across so many states reminds me of the year my family and I went to bed -- knowing there were some storms that were going to pass through, but none were expected to be severe.

Woke up to shit slamming into the house. It was a "straight-line" storm with 75+ mile per hour winds. (We made it to the basement and ended up being fine--thankfully.)

So, yeah ... have your weather alerts ready to go.

Passivity to (really) bad behavior perpetuates the behavior. It tells the wrong-doer "it's cool, no problem".

And where there are victims, the passivity, by default, shuns them. It tells them that what happened to them was "cool, no problem."

This is why I'm a stickler for doing everything I can to not support really fucking horrible people and their endeavors.
