Finally finished compiling another list of potentially malicious Chrome extensions. This time it’s 90 extensions with 51 million users. Two are definitely malicious, the rest is mostly “merely” asking for unnecessarily wide permissions, certain to turn malicious in future. Definitely the same entity publishing all of them.

Yes, one can see that I pushed a bunch (thousand) of extensions into a full-text search database. If only Google knew how to create and use those. 🤔
