If your justification for the genocide of the Palestinian people is that what Israel’s doing is legal, may I remind you the Holocaust was legal too. Hitler was acting entirely within the laws of Nazi Germany while committing the genocide of the Jewish (and Roma, and gay, and disabled, …) people.

Legal does not mean moral, just, or right.

If something is legal but unjust, it is your moral duty to break the law.

No social progress has ever come about without moral people breaking unjust laws.

Because Voyager 1 is so far from Earth, it takes almost 23 hours for a command to reach it at the speed of light, and the same for a response to reach us back, for a total of close to 50 hours.

Which means that interactions with Voyager 1, currently around 15 billion miles away, are still faster than many Microsoft Windows updates.

@Edent Yes. This is an excellent book. I specifically liked the contrasts between EU and US approaches. Must read for anybody doing anything with customer data.

Großes Gejammer es würde eine "Hexenjagd" auf die rich-kid-Schnösel von #Sylt betrieben.Besoffene würden nunmal doofe Lieder gröhlen.
No way, ich hab im besoffenen Kopp schon so einigen Scheiß gemacht, aber nie so komplett jenseits dessen, wofür ich stehe. Der outcall ist mehr als richtig. Not-fun-fact: keine einzige Existenz wird dadurch zerstört. Papis Anwält*innen regeln das schon. Die Empörung ist groß, Konsequenzen wieder Null.

@black_purple Abgesehen davon macht man unter Alkoholeinfluss nichts, was man nicht tun will.

Alkohol enthemmt. Er schaltet die Impulskontrolle aus.

Wer also unter Alkohol Nazilieder gröhlt, tut das, weil er insgeheim diese Lieder gröhlen WILL und durch den Alkohol nicht in der Lage ist, das zu verhindern!

Alkohol macht nicht aus Menschen Nazis - Nazis setzen ihre Menschenmaske auf, wenn sie nicht alkoholisiert sind.

I think flake.nix/flake.lock are the future overall, while Dockerfile already is better than .phar in every way.

.phar itself is not really very useful anymore, IMO.
