Ch3 news was showing some vision of a policeman applying CPR. If this person lived it was not due to the CPR which was done completely incorrectly. I'm glad the officer tried, and we have good samaritan laws here to give people confidence to help.

But, how is it that a policemen has not been trained properly in CPR?

Holy shit this story.

Police tried to extract a confession from this guy, and told him his father was dead when he actually wasn't.

Then they said they'd kill his dog:

"At one point during the interrogation, the investigators even threatened to have his pet Labrador Retriever, Margosha, euthanized as a stray, and brought the dog into the room so he could say goodbye. 'OK? Your dog’s now gone, forget about it,' said an investigator."

Of all the I've seen, this one may be the most ridiculous yet.

Police claim that after one officer "touched a pill without gloves," somehow this caused multiple cops to lose consciousness requiring hospitalization for an overdose, and a nurse who treated one of the cops also was treated for an overdose.

The only thing these cops overdosed on was their own propaganda, causing them to have panic attacks.

  • Pilot program is in 5 precincts.
  • Each precinct will get rooftop drone platform
  • Calling it “drones as first responders”

This a good thing? Drones can certainly get eyes to an emergency quickly. Video footage admissible in court?

Privacy implications? Will people be shooting these down?
