One of the things about antisemitism is that antisemites sometimes get their target wrong. In this case, a person rammed their vehicle into what they thought was a Jewish Center but was actually an extremist BHI group. It seems no one was hurt but they endangered the lives of several people including children.

Students now regularly tear down posters of children held as #Hamas#hostages. It is hard to understand such heartless inhumanity. Our definition of a #HateCrime is constantly expanding, but if this is not a hate crime, what is? What is happening in our societies? Something has gone wrong.

"In the early morning of March 31, 2023, Mika Westwolf, a 22-year-old #Indigenous woman, was walking on the shoulder of U.S. Highway 93, which passes through the Flathead reservation in Montana. Westwolf was struck by a Cadillac Escalade and declared dead at the scene.
"Authorities said that 28-year-old Sunny White was behind the wheel of the Escalade with her two young children in the back seat and fled the scene. White is allegedly a #WhiteNationalist; she named her children 'Aryan' and 'Nation.' Some speculated that Westwolf's death was a #HateCrime."

A 6-year-old boy was killed and his mother critically injured near Chicago when they were stabbed by a man who targeted them because they were Muslim in the wake of the war between Israel and Hamas, police and relatives of the victims said.

On Saturday, a week after #Hamas militants launched a devastating attack on #Israel, #Czuba allegedly knocked on the #Palestinian family’s door just after 11AM. When the mother, #HanaanShahin, answered, Czuba assaulted her w/a serrated military-style knife while yelling #AntiMuslim statements, forcing her to run to the bathroom to call 911, acc/to local authorities & the family’s statements at a news conference on Sunday.
When #Shahin emerged from the bathroom after calling police…, she found #Czuba attacking her 6-year-old son, #WadeaAlfayoumi, who later died of his wounds. He had been stabbed 26 times, the Will County Sheriff’s Office said in a stmnt. Shahin, 32, was stabbed at least a dozen times & remains hospitalized in serious condition, the family said.
#Czuba was charged w/one count each of first degree #murder, attempted murder & aggravated #battery, and two counts related to #HateCrimes, acc/to the sheriff’s office.
“Detectives were able to determine that both victims in this brutal attack were targeted by the suspect due to them being #Muslims & the on-going #MiddleEastern conflict involving #Hamas & #Israel,” the statement said.
President #Biden said in a statement that he was “sickened” to hear of the deadly attack in #Illinois, which “stands against our fundamental values: freedom from fear for how we pray, what we believe, & who we are.”

A 6-year-old boy and his mother were stabbed over a dozen times late Saturday morning in an anti-Muslim hate crime, according to police. The child, Wadea Al-Fayoume, was killed.

This is in a town very close to me. It is a very typical "small-town America" community, with ~45K people. The (mostly farming) town was previously best known for being devastated by a tornado in 1990. After the tornado, an influx of people moved there from the larger suburbs, creating a mostly politically diverse community.
This man's neighbors say he was "eccentric" because he had strange posters & signs outside his house for the past few years, on political and religious topics. His yard was overcrowded with clutter. He had no police history of violence.
