Spring is the time for the wonderful, pink Sargents Cherry blossoms and with that you get the fuzzy wanting the pollen or nectar. This one was having a great time buzzing from one blossom to another.

Not yet, but soon!
At Medieval ruin in hometown , May 31st 2016.
Edit: About the Church Ruin, info (in Norwegian) with many photos at:
https://www.visittelemark.no/skien/ting-a-gjore/kapitelberget-p500543
It's called Kapittelberget, was built as a private chapel for Bratsberg farm in the early 12th century, probably built by someone associated with the powerful Dagsätten and a possible builder may have been Dag Eilivsson or his son Gregorius Dagsson.

Happy May Day to everyone! If you're entering more Spring or more Winter, hoping you enjoy all the lovely moments! I am waiting on flowers to bloom. My favorite time of year. Well, I love them all, but something about all this new growth, rebirth, songs of Life! Sitting outside, the return of birds, and so much more. :)

May Day green. A lovely walk this morning while the world was fresh. Bathed my face in the dew - not that it’s likely to do much good!

I should be able to track endless time yard work as in Strava...

has an active campaign for the past couple of years to encourage citizens NOT to mow their lawns, to keep dandelions available for bees and other pollinators. Dandelions are one of the first food sources for bees after waking up from a long winter. It’s essential for their survival until other flowers are available.

dahlia,

So the campaign to not mow your lawn is for the month of May, if you do mow, do so infrequently.

Also, if you own a house, you can opt to have clover coverages instead. They stay short and offer flowers to bees and less water intensive than grass.
