I mean, ok, I have been doing this job for years, but today I had to solve an issue for a user where a file wasn't opening with our app but with Adobe Acrobat instead, and no-one who had the ticket before me had even tried to correct the file association?
They did muck about with user rights and uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but just trying to assign the filetype to the correct program eluded them.
