Coconut water is a fantastic summer drink for several reasons. It's incredibly hydrating, packed with electrolytes like potassium, and low in calories, making it perfect for replenishing fluids lost through sweating in the summer heat 🥥

#ExtremeHeat is common in May. But not in April and March, both of which were the hottest across much of India for more than a century.

In the short term, experts say #India has no choice but to burn #coal to keep #fans and #ACs on. But in the long term, it must transition to #Renewables, to avoid a vicious circle of warming. #BurningPlanet #ClimateCrisis #ClimateChange

"It's not a walkable distance under this temperature. If we go by motorcycle, it's not worth it because of the cost of fuel. If we save money for fuel, we may as well use it to buy water."

Watching this made me think yet again about or rather, the profound iINJUSTICE of climate change: how the poorest - Rikshah drivers, street hawkers, labourers - suffer the most, without any accees to , outside all day, yet contribute nothing to . The impacts are so hnequal, so unfair, in micro as well as macro ways, it makes you want to screem.

Deadly heatwaves have been sweeping through South and Southeast Asia, setting records and closing schools before the official summer season even starts. At least three dozen deaths have been attributed to the heat so far this month, and June is expected to be even hotter.
