By definition, plutocracy isn't popular, since it's a system that benefits a small minority at everyone else's expense. In its natural state, plutocracy is only popular with its winners, and not the vast majority of losers it creates.

Corrupt Justice Samuel Alito says Congress has no power over the Supreme Court

Let me translate that from Republican to English:

Congress is the only democratically elected branch of our federal government

He says the people are not be able to take the power the Supreme Court gave itself away

He is saying the people have no authority over an oligarchy

Unacceptable.

Balkanization, Sequestration for tax purposes (and to create artificial scarcity), Price hikes, and demeaning attempts to further squeeze money from basic consumers means Piracy has re-emerged -- judging by the popularity Indian and European torrent releases -- as more convenient.

Disgusting display of conspicuous wealth: interior of a fancy penthouse with shiny white floors. One wall is covered entirely with a fancy, backlit, mirrored display cabinet (the kind you would see in an upscale retail store) full of designer handbags and shoes. You can see the brands Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, and Chanel. Expensive designer luggage is stacked up beside the shelves.

I recoil when reading ProPublica's Supreme Court exposés. It's like I'm reading the sordid details of sexual abuse encounters.

These Supreme Court justices have raped our constitution, rewarded their abettors (accomplices, perhaps?), bragged about their brutal savagery, revel in their megalomania, and decree that it's no big deal.

What are we going to do to stop them?

Fed rate hikes aren't simply a dial that controls inflation.

They're more like a Rube Goldberg machine—slowing the economy so much that workers lose jobs and pay until (maybe, just maybe) prices drop.

This is a bad way to fight inflation that's largely driven by price gouging.
