Just finished the novel #ReadyPlayerOne. Thoroughly enjoyed this one!
Lots of geeky references to classic video games, Dungeons and Dragons, and related culture from the 70s-90s, but set in a near future dystopia dominated by a MMORPG called the OASIS.
Kind of like the Hunger Games, if Cory Doctorow had written it. And Doctorow even makes a brief cameo in the book.
On today's #GreatestTrek, the Discovery crew is about to get the party started when Moll steals the Progenitor keg right from under them. Then an away team goes undercover to see if they can pull one over on the Breen.

I'm still working on some updates for it, and as such it's still isn't perfect. But if you are interested in a simple Newtonian arcade space shooter, my game Flank Speed is available on Steam. Kind of a modern take on the classic game "Space War". With multiplayer in the works.
Continuing to replace the AI-generated images in my game now that I understand how problematic it is.
It's turning out to be making my game better. Below is a comparison between the AI image I'd generated (on the left) for a snowy outpost and what I drew (on the right).
The AI version is evocative enough, I suppose, but it's obviously AI generated. And the image on the right is MUCH closer to what I envisioned for the scene (despite my art skills). I like mine better.
Got a new idea for a novel. Pre-industrial society on nameless planet. Disabled people sometimes disappear and come back “fixed”. It’s the aliens. The kicker is they’re purifying the gene pool and replacing the people in synth bodies. I know this might trigger some disabled people, but what I wouldn’t give to be in a non disabled body with the same mind… #sciFi#ChronicIllness
Need more practice, so today I decided to learn more about Post Processing in Unreal Engine 5, I made the draft of the scanner Material. The final goal is to do as in the game Days Gone or Death Stranding. What other examples do you like?

Gone in 60 Seconds. I was troubled by the thought of the mechanics of the detective, the reflection of the decals if you shine an ultraviolet light on them, so I made the first draft

#scavengersreign is a rare bird, a shooting star. I was lucky enough to see it inside, work on it. Now it's re-released, let's keep this anomaly shining.
