The amount of nitpicking on the Fediverse is so insane it gets under my skin sometimes.

"In fact, it is not..."
"Your post is missing..."
"I think you are wrong in..."
"Why did you..."
"Why didn't you..."
"What about..."

I'm not saying I'm perfect either, often guilty as charged for starting an exchange of arguments, but we should learn to be more considerate.

Sometimes it's better to not to engage. I do this a lot when I have nothing to add.

When the discussion about , and native packages on , my first intuition is to ask "who do I trust to distribute software to my computer". And in that question, the "Who" part for me means the organization and the rules by which that organization works, transparency, etc.

Based on discussions here, others have widely differing attitudes towards trust in software distribution.

I'm curious about yours!

It seems like personal, unreflected fear is the driving force for hate and intolerance. How do you fix that? How would you teach people to not fear certain things?... 🤔 Recently I discussed with someone who is pro forbidding people to wear a hijab, and the only real argument was that they fear people wearing those. That it's weird and unusual. They didn't seem like a hateful person, it was just the fear of something they rarely see which leads them to decide for restricting freedom of others...

It's nice to discuss with people about , especially if they have a contrary opinion. Though oftentimes it just leads to irrational arguments and beliefs, which is pretty sad...

you know what's one thing that anyone seems to do when you actually want to learn and see their side... they shut you out.

I don't know what's up with that, you don't want someone to ask questions? Jesus Christ what's the point of posting then?

IF YOU WANT to only have your side, and ONLY interact with people who agree with you, then why are you here?

Do you not want discourse? If you shut a person who asks question out, you'll just get them to be against you, YOU FUCKING GOOFY IMBECILE.

the moment someone asks a question about something you said, you have made progress to somewhere.

jesus christ this reminds of school where when you ask a question, you'll be looked down upon for asking ONE, which a question IS THE FIRST FUCKING STEP OF LEARNING.

then you call me a 'sealion'

anyway this kids is why you can't have a discussion online... atleast with text

Am i missing something, am I doing something wrong? to be shut out like this?

Finally finished up the next and over on on magic items.

My main concept is to turn the equipment that your players already have into magic items over time, to lessen the clutter and create a stronger relation between player character and magic item.

Recently, Sarawak Metro had the pleasure of meeting their counterparts in Hong Kong together with senior officers from Sarawakian ministries and agencies.

Sarawak Metro thanked MTR for the opportunity to connect and learn during the visit.

It seemed like they probably discussed about transit-oriented development (TOD), possibly wanting to implement them under the Kuching Urban Transportation System (KUTS).

Just occurred to me how incredibly frustrating it is to live in a country ( ) claiming to be one of the most digitized countries in the world yet they fail to provide, or use, open platforms and forums to discuss digitization, cybersecurity or any other related topic.

Imagine if any issue or question could be discussed and managed as Github-repo?

Want to change the wording of official documentation? Supply a patch, and let's discuss.
