This is what the New York Times is calling the uprise in violent, nationalist extremist groups around the world.
The Israeli attacks by Hamas over the weekend, is an example of how extremists are growing more emboldened to use unprecedented levels of violence.
It’s only going to get worse.
Here in America, extremists have leadership roles in congress; while they openly conspire to rig elections, blackmail the speaker of the house, and plot to overthrow the government.
The attack in Israeli snuck up on them. America was given a test run on Jan 6, 2021, when extremists, under the direction of Donald Trump attacked our US Capitol.
These same extremists are plotting to install Trump as president. He cannot win an election honestly, so lying, cheating, and stealing is the name of his game.
Some of Trump’s loyalists sit on congressional committees, some are governors, some want to be speaker.
Why Is the Public’s Business at the Mercy of a Few Extremists?
One of the main reasons is that their Congress, which ought to be a global beacon of liberal values, continues to succumb to self-inflicted paralysis. How else can it be that fewer than a dozen lawmakers from the outer fringes of the Republican Party are holding one of the world’s oldest democracies hostage to their wildest whims?

Israel’s ambassador to the #UnitedStates, Michael Herzog, hailed the call between #Biden & #Netanyahu & expressed confidence that the WH & #Congress would be able to provide any needed support to #Israel.
“Right now we are assessing the situation, assessing our needs, &, to the extent that we will need some support, we will not hesitate to ask for it,” he said.
The #House is operating w/o a #speaker after #fringe#RightWing#extremists ousted #McCarthy bringing the chamber to a standstill.
In the year since #RoeVWade was overturned, the #Republican Party has tested out constantly changing talking points & messages on #abortion in an attempt to make its anti-abortion policies sound less #extreme. #Conservatives are even considering moving away from the term “#ProLife,” fearing that voters have newly negative associations w/the label.
The phrase “abortion tourism” has also made its way into #Republican talking points. This makes it sound as if women traveling to get abortions were taking vacations rather than fleeing their home states for #healthcare, sometimes emptying their bank accts or staying in shelters in the process.
#Republicans averted the self-inflicted wound of a #GovernmentShutdown this weekend. The main casualty of the process was #aid for #Ukraine, but foreign aid was always a fig leaf—for both #GOP#dysfunction & the determination of a small group of Republicans to help #Russia.

Kent has similarly referred to vaccines and quarantines as “tyranny” designed to “keep us afraid...”
This is just another transparent attempt by the #Republicans to shift the blame for their utter #failure at basic governance to the #Democrats. Make no mistake about it, the impending government #shutdown is 100% the fault of #House Republicans. A handful of far-right #extremists are holding the entire country #hostage, and #KevinMcCarthy is incapable of controlling his members. This is their mess, their fault, their failure. And #GymJordan facilitates sexual assault.
Does anybody else feel like the American #politics#media needs to stop calling MAGA politicians #conservatives ? They're not. If they're anything, they're #right-wing #extremists. I wonder if #Democrats, #liberals, or #progressives could peel off some actual conservative #voters by hammering the current #Republican politicians on how anti-conservative they are. There are very few conservative elected officials left in the Republican Party. They're mostly either clowns or right wingers.
