So very pleased with how this bag came out. If I was ever to make it again, I would have matched the brown leather top stitching thread. I thought I'd like the contrast look, and I don't hate it, but matching hides a multitude of sins.
Still, this piece is a beautiful bag that is going to last me a long time.

I haven’t posted much knitting and I realized that’s because I didn’t want to post pics I thought were too repetitive (left slipper and then right slipper) so I thought I’d wait till I was done and then I decided, hey, that’s silly. Texture Artists! How would you go about turning this photo I took into an evenly lit texture? It doesn't need to be tileable.
I know I can stretch it to be nice and straight, but then, how could I make the light more even? Is that even possible?
I know there are plenty of good (and probably free) wood textures, but for my project, I want everything to be handmade from scratch. I want to try at least. Either procedural, or from a photo like this.

I've been wearing my own home made facial cream for a few years now. I know what's in it, it feels good, and my face doesn't look like an old leather sack.
I've tried everything on my poor cracked heels but nothing has helped until I put my facial cream on my heels because nothing else was nearby. It was the first morning I woke up with soft heels. Now I have made a new balm especially for heels and it's in this nifty applicator so I don't have to touch my feet to apply it. #HandMade#DIY
