Fewer than 60 multinationals are responsible for more than half of the world’s plastic pollution, with five responsible for a quarter of that.
The top five brands globally were The Coca-Cola Company (11%), PepsiCo (5%), Nestlé (3%), Danone (3%), and Altria (2%), accounting for 24% of the total branded count

Coca-Cola by itself is responsible for 11% of all identifiable plastic pollution. Eleven percent! And they've fought tooth and nail against any legislation that makes them responsible for it.

Meanwhile in an interesting spat in :

French supermarket giant Carrefour has decided to stop selling products because of unacceptable price rises on their range(s).

It will be interesting to see how this plays out... how will customers react to a well-known brand not being available & which side will cave first?

More interestingly, might any lessons be drawn about how UK might use (or perhaps have been using) their oligopolistic position on pricing?

Pirkka-cola on hyvää.

tukee Venäjän hyökkäyssotaa, koska valmistaa Pepsiä.
NACP harkitsee tällä hetkellä noin viidenkymmenen uuden suuryhtiön lisäämistä ”sotasponsoreiksi”. Niiden joukossa on myös The Coca-Cola Company, jonka kumppaniyritys on jatkanut niin ikään toimintaansa Venäjällä.
