IBM to pause hiring in plan to replace 7,800 jobs with AI - See, the thing about is that it will not only replace low-end jobs through smart and , it will also take high-end professional jobs. Some developers, lawyers and accountants/auditors will also lose their jobs. Pair the low-end job loss with the potential high-end job loss and one has the proverbial perfect storm.
