I made the way to delete some cookies from #Vivaldi#browser then cdrom.tokyo came back.
Tried to make a post with a gif image in. Suddenly cracked down and got blank. Had to delete the cookies again. Just sent some text, took some seconds to post.
Why it takes too long time for a post?
Why it fails when I upload an gif?
The President of Iceland Guðni Thorlacius Jóhannesson @presidentisl has something in common with our Software Engineer, Geir Gunnarson and it involves the ocean.
Find out what it is and read about why the President and his wife, First Lady Eliza Jean Reid, made a visit to our Iceland office last week. 🌊👇
I really made a mess...
Because I tried to disable the Linux keyring, I deleted something that made web browsers unable to save the logins/passwords, so I have to log in every time I go in.
Me stupid... #Linux#Vivaldi#Browsers#Internet#passwords#Mints
#Vivaldi browser failed again. I don't know why is that issue so singular with cdrom.tokyo site that becomes blank and I'm forced to delete all data from Vivaldi to make the site back online. (even I have to re-log in every site and make new passwords for each accounts.
Happened the same with the other apps as #Brave and Dissenter before. Is that because of cdrom.tokyo?
I don't get.
And now, the site is working so slow... is that me or the #Akkoma server?
Hello les gens, vous avez de bons exemples de page de support/aide avec une bonne #UX ? Je trouve celle de #Vivaldi très bien ( https://help.vivaldi.com ) mais je cherche d'autres idées.
I've always thought that Vivaldi was more of a UI experiment, what with all the drawers and such, but it's really benching well. I should daily drive it for a while and see how the PWA support is.
Testing the new #Vivaldi 6.7 snapshot. I'm not sure if all these features are public knowledge, so I'm not going to talk too much about it right now, but there are some very cool things coming if all of this stays in the next stable release.
The new 3319.12 #Vivaldi#snapshot is public, so the new features inside are offered to be tested and commented, so thanks for the future feedback and if you can send bug reports, for example…
If the survey I did on Mastodon is anything to go by, most people do not.
2% Want AI in their browser.
25% Want AI in their browser, if their data is not used for other purposes, such as ads and profiling.
73% Do not want AI in their browser at all.
575 entered the poll.
A lot of browser companies are now pushing AI in their browsers.
I guess the 2% have a lot of browsers to choose between.
In response to the European Union's DMA (Digital Market's Act) Apple’s current Choice Screen design is flawed as they look at it very narrowly, per platform and country.
We think priority should be given to cross-platform browsers.
The main browser choices should be visible and we aren't. Quality matters and we should be on the list for all countries.
Find out more about what we think about the current state of affairs with Apple's Browser Choice Screen.
I had a survey where I asked users on Mastodon which Vivaldi products and services they are using. This is the result:
83% Vivaldi on Windows, Mac & Linux.
65% Vivaldi on mobile
56% Vivaldi sync
39% Vivaldi Social (Mastodon)
13% Vivaldi Forums
9% Vivaldi Blogs
1% Vivaldi Automotive
11% used none of the Vivaldi products and services.
724 responded.
It is great to see how many are using Vivaldi across devices and sync. Vivaldi is one of the few browsers that offers browsers on all major OS and the only browser to do that and provide the browser in cars as well.
It is also great to see how many are using the different Vivaldi services. We are happy to provide ways for our community to engage and to support the Fediverse!
If you wonder what Vivaldi is, the best way to figure that out is to download it from vivaldi.com.
I love the Notes feature in #Vivaldi. Seriously, I use it all the time. Sometimes I just add quick notes in a panel. Sometimes I tile a full tab with another page so it's more of a full sized document. When I change computers or even fire up @Vivaldi on my phone, my notes are there. I can do formatting and even embed images. Seriously, it's hard to overstate how useful this feature is to me.
@Dricc Yea, mobile #Vivaldi isn't as full featured as its desktop version is, and there are quite a few features regarding Notes that I'd love to see go mobile. Widgets and Markdown rendering would be top of the list.
