This is Boudicca, an African spurred #tortoise who loves cherry tomatoes. She was malnourished before being rescued, which caused the unusual pyramidal development of her shell. She now lives happily in a university #greenhouse where she is well cared for and free to roam from biome to biome.
Up and out well before dawn. This American Alligator was hanging motionless in the perfectly still waters of a #Florida wetland. His head the only part that was above water made a perfect mirror reflection under the gray sky making a beautiful minimalist artwork piece for nature lovers.
I have a good chunk of offline time planned for this #weekend. Thinking I might spend some of it pondering what I want to be when I grow up. Haven’t quite nailed that down at age 53.
Feeling like if it hasn’t happened by now, odds are that it never well. Always worth another try, though.
