Why? Describing this as "dark neofolk" doesn't really describe how they bring together diverse styles of vocals and instrumentation that pull both from metal and the dark sides of country and folk. Where to start?
"Devil Like You" cemented by obsession, telling the story of a murder most foul with just an earworm of a haunting chorus
Given the Met Police's own inability to deal with violence against women from within its ranks, its a bit ironic that Mark Rowley (Commissioner of the Met) has now suggested around 4 million (mostly) men are a risk to women & girls.
He may be right that this is a problem that goes beyond policing, but even if that is true, for some time the police have been effectively downplaying the problem.
As a society we need to recognise this as the problem it is!
Does anyone know what the deal is with Blogher? I apparently have an account there -- created in 2011! -- but don’t see how to log in. And every time I click a link, Firefox tells me it’s a security risk.

“This war must stop because women and girls are bearing the brunt of it,” Bahous told a UN Security Council meeting on Tuesday.

Let Them...The idea behind this way of thinking is that negative people are going to do what they are going to do, so you can take back your power by letting them. You don't need to use your precious energy to fight their negativity.
"For nearly two decades, one woman stood up to the Southern Baptist Convention, forcing it to face its sex abuse crisis. She was gaslit, maligned, and threatened with legal action. But she didn’t back down and on this podcast, you’ll hear her story."
Ottawa also cited the lack of legal marriage in Japan for same-sex couples as a reason to certify the couple as refugees, noting the couple was denied the benefits given under the Japanese system to those in opposite-sex marriages.
"Russia monitors its internet and can identify protesters there. But women banging pots and pans to make noise to protest the war are another matter. The women arrange these, noise against the war, sessions by word of mouth or via encrypted email services like WhatsApp and Telegram. The anti-war noise protests are spreading and more Russian towns and city neighborhoods hear the noise on Saturday afternoons."
