@jensorensen I've been told that with some EVs, you can choose a noise they make to make ppl aware that they're coming and that coconut clip clops à la Monty Python are available. Not sure if true or urban legend, but I do wish it's true 😃

Puoliso aloitti pari vuotta sitten uuden työn suomalaisessa yliopistossa, ja silloin kuulemma sai tosi usein kuulla (yleisesti, ei välttämättä juuri hänelle kohdistettuna) miten tärkeää on somenäkyvyys ja siellä aktiivisesti esillä olo, Twitteristä puhuttiin paljon. Nyt ei kuulemma reiluun vuoteen ole enää tätä kuulunut, varsinkaan Xstä. Tai ehkä ne on vaan luovuttaneet hänen kohdallaan 😆

EU-parlamentti kaatoi esityksen torjunta-aineiden käytön vähentämisestä. Esityksen mukaan torjunta-aineiden käyttö olisi kielletty kokonaan herkillä alueilla, kuten kaupunkien viheralueilla ja suojelualueilla.

Esitys kaatui ennen muuta keskustaoikeiston ja laitaoikeiston vastustukseen. Niiden mukaan aineiden käytön vähentäminen olisi heikentänyt eurooppalaisen maatalouden tuottavuutta ja kilpailukykyä.

Great to watch on a morning. Kalle lives in a remote area of Sweden and shares his lifestyle on a regular basis.

He used new tech media for some old-school social networking, inviting 50 of his subscribers to spend 3 days together in a nearby town. Wonderful way to share culture, nature and thoughts! If he does another event like this, I’ll definitely be interested in attending.

@kevinctofel Oh these videos sound interesting! I'm from Finland, but although I live in a city, there's a small, simple family cottage close by. It's next to a lake & a nature reserve, has electricity but no running water. Absolutely love it, and visiting there is an amazing way to reset your brain.

@immersfer Yksi iso syy sille, että minusta tuli innokas lukija oli se, että kaupunginosan kirjasto oli samassa rakennuksessa kuin koulu. Ei maailman suurin kirjasto, mutta sinne oli helppo mennä koulun jälkeen. Koulujen omat kirjastot ovat todella tärkeitä juuri siksi että ovat oppilaita lähellä.

    @immersfer Tällä hetkellä käytettyä kamaa saa niin helposti, että monelle se on varmaan hyvä vaihtoehto "perusshoppailulle". Mutta ehkä tulevaisuudessa (olettaen että kulutus vähenee ja vaihtoehdot yleistyy) vois olla se, että tekee tai teettää vanhoista uutta ja yksilöllistä?
