Is this the correct venue for feature requests?

I regularly post in two different languages that also have different rules for quotation marks. Mona always uses the rules for my native language and I have to change the setting for each individual post. Additionally, changing this setting is not exactly convenient, it being buried in a submenu.

Some kind of quick-select for the posting language in the editor would be appreciated.

@MonaApp Hm. Do you know what the setting is tied to? The edit field? I can change it but it changes back whenever I create a new post. Maybe there is a way to retain the settings across editors? That would help somewhat.

It's worth watching if you want to understand the criticism of Navalny about nationalism, his position on , etc.

I said it several times, but with Ivory's latest announcement, let me repeat it: we (the Mastodon team) are working on implementing Quote Posts. This is a much more complex feature than showing a preview for a link to a post, which is done at the moment by multiple clients.

It is a complex task and we have been working on defining the feature and the protocol-level details for some time. We are moving forward, and there are fewer hard questions to answers, but progress is there.

The incident arose because an Israeli player stated in a broadcast interview that all Irish were antisemitic. Evidently because Ireland called for a ceasefire and criticized Israel for killing babies.

We here in Europe need to be prepared for that.

If they were, they would not have sent aid to in the first place, thereby taking out 300,000 Russian soldiers.

First spending USD 75 billion on aid, only to cut the aid, before Russia is finished, is not siding with Putin — that is just siding with stupidity.

@Crell I don’t feel competent enough to make that decision. So I’ll leave it to the people directly affected by it.

It seems quite arrogant to tell the Israelis that they are defending themselves in the wrong way.
Even though telling other people what they are doing wrong seems to be a popular pastime for many.
