She had built the array, picked up the signal and argued it was not an anomaly. Hewish received the Nobel prize for it in 1974: Bell Burnell did not.
In 2018 Bell Burnell received a £3m prize for her work. She's using it to set up a foundation to improve the diversity in STEM.

Burnell is credible, and not trying to hijack someone else’s social cause for social recognition—thus diminishing it with toxic extremism that alienates the successes of those like Burnell by fomenting divisive rhetoric. Burnell is incredibly successful and paved the way for many others, but I encourage you to read her own words and strategy on equality.

One CME ejects over a billion tons of mass, and meteorites make up 10^7 to 10^9 kg/year of atmospheric deposits, a lot of which are metals. So this paper is trash.

@QasimRashid Agree with you on some issues. But on others, like Indiana school age decision, you sound really ignorant. 96-97% of farms in Indiana are family owned. Farming IS the economy there, leaving at 14 is a parent and students choice and would not be a forced one. A kid working on a family farm at 14 will absolutely learn way more working on a farm than at even the best public school in the U.S.
