HNL Info Alerts: A Brown Water Advisory has been issued at Waimea Bay on O‘ahu.
"The river is flowing into coastal waters. The public is advised to stay out of flood waters and storm water runoff due to possible overflowing cesspools, sewer, manholes, pesticides, animal fecal matter, dead animals, pathogens, chemicals, and associated flood debris. "
Another shot from Kailua Beach of the common myna bird. This one was walking over the sand, but with high steps that make it look like it if stomping along.
We had gin and tonics with fruit from the garden, a mural of Carissa Moore who won the gold in surfing, and Duke Kahanamoku who popularized sufing and won medals in swimming in the 1910's and 20's. Chilly for here, lows in 60's, highs in lower 70's.

Chickens are wandering around all over the island. Even in Honolulu and Waikiki. This one was in the parking lot area at Sunset Beach on the north shore.
This little guy just seemed to be enjoying the attention of the camera. He posed in so many different ways for the camera, but showed no sign of being afraid.
