Some time I found another cool engine is #godotengine :godot:. This is an amazing, so easy to use. It helps me to understand a lot of basic gamedev stuff I need to know. I read all of that in the documentation which are perfect 🙃 Also Godot works great on #linux :linux: which is an another great OS

Used to work a lot with #Unity, but kinda over it now. Thinking of building my own engine in V for my games. Hoping to make a cool #VR game with solid physics one day 😅
@maxim Hey there, I'm a gamedev both in a studio and mustering the energy to work on personal projects as well.
I used to do a lot of #ActionScript when that used to be a thing.
Nowadays I do... still ActionScript! (still alive in the gaming industry for UI! 😁 ) in a studio in Sweden, and #csharp for my projects on #Unity, but in the process of trying to migrate to #Godot! (still in C# though, I don't feel that I'll like gdscript 😅 )
@maxim Hi folks, I'm building computers and developing software professionally since my teen years when 6502 and Z80 were all the rage. These days I do almost only C++ in a small engineering company in the south of Germany. The problem domain is mostly applied signal processing, machine control, data visualization, inter-device communication, interaction with enterprise resource planning, and the like. I'm also a member of the C++ Standard committee, involved in the future core language.
