Alito continues his anti-judicial white power reign of terror and completely gets the law wrong. Alito is a grave danger to the nation and the rule of law.
So patently unconstitutional that they should trigger immediate arrests of #Alito for judicial insurrection.
The very notion that political parties have any control over elections or districting is what is actually unconstitutional.
This leapt out to me. The Supreme Court has previously said that even if partisan gerrymandering violates the Constitution, federal courts can't stop it.
Today, the Supreme Court declared that partisan gerrymandering does not violate the Constitution. That is very different!

Remember, DoJ asked SCOTUS to take the case and it declined—saying he had to go to the appellate court first. You could argue that was “ordinary,” if gratuitous.
Then the appellate court issued a unanimous—airtight—decision. Standard practice would’ve been for SCOTUS to let it stand a matter of days after being asked to do so.
Instead, it waited weeks to declare it would—unnecessarily—take the case, then scheduled argument for April.
That’s 100% delaying the case for the criminal defendant who is charged with the most serious crimes against the United States of America.
And now we see Alito was signaling support for the insurrection.
The Palestinian genocide has exposed so many things. You may not care about it, but the issues arising from it in : #surveillance , #corruption, #lobbying, #internationallaw, #racism, etc. etc. will come to affect you— one way or another.
