Some ppl think it's hard to do more of yearly meals as #Plantbased#Vegan.
It's simple.
Every meal we do that way is another positive ripple.
It's good for health & longevity.
It's good for quality of life.
It's good for planet.
It's good for animals.
It's good for defunding the most polluting resource intensive industries & their awful politicians.
It helps everyone.
For New Years we thought better not tempt fate after experiencing some misfortune in 2023 so the spouse & I teamed up to make some traditional Southern New Years good luck food - slow-cooked pot of black-eyed peas and a skillet of cornbread. Missing collard greens for the full effect but wow, lucky or not it’s delicious. Happy New Years!
I resolve to strive to be well,
to discover what that is,
to determine what can and can not be done for it,
and to accept what can not be done;
of what can be done, to do what is best;

of what must be done, to do it well;
of what is done, to know it is done;
and to do nothing otherwise.
The problem with modern computational photography is that it can “hide” problems with reality on the assumption they are problems with the photographer’s skill.
I opened the door this morning, and all the HEPA filters in the house kicked into high gear trying to clear the smoke hanging everywhere in the air.

My late partner said "You'll be doing what you do on the New Year's Day for the rest of the year." I hope we will be experiencing beautiful moments like this all #2024.
