Several of them will be done in a chair. Some standing & others are laying down. I don't see many exercise vids made by & for #disabled folks available online. I got frustrated, trying to find exercise vids, made by fellow disabled folks.
So, I'm going to stop complaining about lack of them. I'll start to create them, myself.
Still haven't gone to bed? @Lstn2urmama
I'm up a bit early, but well rested. By dark tonight, I'll be a zombie.
Feeling pretty good this morning, mentally & physically. I had a brief Jog yesterday, 1st time I've run, even to the curb, in 20 years. My knees are not swollen, my body isn't as stiff as it usually is when I wake. I usually have to stretch out to move when I wake.
I actually felt like running again, but then I remember, I'm old. LOL #exercise#aging#oldpeopleproblems
🆕 blog! “Review: EgoFit Walker Pro - an under-desk treadmill”
★★★★⯪
My doctor told me that sitting at a desk all day was slowly killing me. So I purchased a standing desk adapter. Then my doctor said I ought to take better care of my feet. So I purchased a massaging foot mat to go with my standing desk. Now my doctor says that I need […]
Inspired by @kcarruthers , I did a Zumba routine online. I lasted 15 minutes the first day. It was so confusing because of all the steps. I did the routine again yesterday and got to 20 mins. I’m going to keep going until I can do the full 30 mins 😊 It’s fun!#exercise
Third day of going for a "run" every other morning after not exercising for...more than a year? Maybe 2? I'm walking most of the route, but hopefully I can start walking less of it soon.
My husband invited me to run a couple's half-marathon next year. Catch is, I haven't done any serious running or sports in quite some time! He's a regular half-marathoner and has done a marathon in the past.
We put our heads together and came up with a safe plan (C25K, 5K-10K, then 10K - Half Marathon) schedule with the help of some online guides for me to live my running fantasy. 😂
With a Personal Trainer at the #gym. This first training program develops my #strength. Next week we will go through another program that raises the heart rate. 🙂🙏👏 #exercise#pt#workout
Working my way towards a walk at sunrise.. watching the temperature drop and the windchill and considering a treadmill instead. .We'll see.
Just need a stretch or warmup before I can go.
#Exercise - We wouldn't have to do this, if we had better discipline.. pass that cookie to me! 😂
Going Back to the 2nd Generation AirPods in Some Situations
As you might have been able to surmise from my posts on this site, I primarily use Apple hardware and software. I do have a couple of linux servers, and a Raspberry Pi, but my day to day computer is a Mac.
No mothing for a bit (short break and this week heavy rain and wind overnight) but hopeful for Sunday night. So more running nonsense, I’m afraid. Another 5k delight. Behind me is my favourite tree in the park with its mosaic bark - the London Plane. Thought I’d test my max HR today. 194 again (always between 194-197)… which going by the nonsensical debunked 220 minus age theory makes me 26 years old 😅

Day 13 of my “do a brief workout every day for 14 days” challenge:
Bed exercises again tonight (no cats this time, they’re too busy sleeping on the heating vents). I did 6 leg/ab exercises (5 sets of 10), and also tried out two “chair” exercises (2 sets of 10) that were recommended by my instructor.
It took about 15 minutes, during which I watched another YouTube disaster video (a guilty pleasure). Feeling surprisingly good. Almost to my goal!
My current #weightlossjourney from 213 lbs to now under 195 lbs (88.45kg) and almost 7 inches (17.78 cm) on my waist lost in almost 53 days and haven’t worked out as much because of work and the puppy but swinging back into it. #exercise#weightloss#fitness#health
It's not a fitness workout, it's so I can stand & move.
Besides a few grunts & groans, I do this stretch every morning. I balance on 1-foot, pull my other knee to my chest, hold it, balanced on 1-foot, for 2 mins
I do have slightly different strength in one knee, than the other, & if I am distracted, I'll fall over 😆
Any recommendations for a smart scale that auto-updates HealthKit data? Preferably want a scale that doesn’t hoover up my data in an invasive way. Ideally, I’d like to use a third party, privacy preserving app with the scales, if possible.
Withings looks good, but the app is a privacy no-no judging by it’s App Store label. If I use Withings with a third party app, is that better (assuming that app preserves privacy)?
Using a sore muscle normally?
Let's say that I feel a little pain after doing some exercise I don't normally do....
