Trump is now back posting on Twitter, claiming election interference, and Musk is retweeting him in support.

If Musk’s actions hadn’t already driven you away then I’m not sure this will, but up until now I understood people sticking around there for their audience.

But now? If you’re still on Twitter you’re in the Nazi bar and you’re okay with it.

, that includes you.

The upside to all this rampant ChatGPT and language bots making up bullshit, talking heads/reaction idiots on giving a "twist" and outright of news in socials in some countries (), we might.. hopefully.. be on the precipice of everyone going back to only digesting news direct from the source.

We didn't have fake news problems back when it only came from verified sources via legit who lost reputation when they fabricated. Lets do more o dat.

I have a new approach when I am asked to go on TV, which happens once in a while. Usually it's MSNBC, sometimes CNN under the old regime.

My new goal is to introduce a term or concept that has not been heard before on network television.

A few weeks ago it was "verification in reverse" on Maddow.

On May 11 (The 11th Hour) it was "not the odds, but the stakes," which I had pre-tested in Twitter and Mastodon.

Let me know if it worked: https://www.msnbc.com/11th-hour/watch/fallout-from-trump-town-hall-174063173939

Any out there are working on a story about the current spam problem on Twitter? (I'm talking about what you see in the replies from the accounts @BennyGordon @baseballmarty @Greg_Weisman @thekevinryder and others). Message me, I have at least a cell phone number that is associated with one of the hackers, they put it into the two-factor setup on an old email I had.

It seems that is the now go-to place for all the alternative and commentators.

And, although it's a centralised platform, it doesn't seem to be too much of a bad thing because you can subscribe and receive updates.

I still think the would be better though.

Hey , question.

Why do news sites that charge for subscriptions require annual subscriptions, often paid monthly?

Why don't they let me pay per article or by the month? I'd happily pay the $3 for a "day pass" or $8 for the month.

I just don't want to get screwed forgetting about my introductory rate on year one (i.e. $25) only to have it be $300 in year 2.
