Docusign just admitted that they use customer data (i.e., all those contracts, affidavits, and other confidential documents we send them) to train AI:

https://support.docusign.com/s/document-item?language=en_US&bundleId=fzd1707173174972&topicId=uss1707173279973.html

They state that customers "contractually consent" to such use, but good luck finding it in their Terms of Service. There also doesn't appear to be a way to withdraw consent, but I may have missed that.

@gvwilson> but I may have missed that.

You must've missed that very easy to overlook 'sneaky' email that goes:

I was exploring down a gravel road, and stopped to take a picture of this Donkey sitting in a field, but it got up, and decided it wanted pets, and then three dogs, small, medium, and large, also came running from across the road, to get pets too. They have a whole racket going on!

He starts to stand up
He's walking over!
The Donkey and one of the dogs having a chat, they are friends!

@RickiTarr There was this super funny account called, "The Donkey Years". He left the Fediverse - "...too many judgmental and self-righteous people around here." was his last post. (rough recollection). Sad!

Giving final touches to the grip of a Mizo machete after having it forged from the metal of a spring of some vehicle. Guy owns a Backhoe loader so it's part of his work - clearing jungle trees. And sometimes for chopping meat. Told me that the forgers from Shillong are the best.

While the world’s eye has shifted from to and , a gentle reminder that the civil war in (or ) continues to simmer. This video (from 2 days ago) shows members of the Burmese army fleeing to my state in , after being chased by members of the PDF. That river is the one I posted some months ago. Locals say that has changed its strategy from supporting the ruling Junta to the People’s Defense Armed Forces (PDF). but informative, so sharing - with @mastodonindians too. If true, China’s strategy to support the PDF instead of the ruling Junta could mean a lot for - strategically and economically.

Not graphic or gore so I’m leaving out the CW.

Friend (back home) went out looking for a wraparound and she stumbled upon this one with in it - similar to what the Mara people do with their traditional wrap around. Pretty, I must say.

Adding PIC 3 (from the internet) for comparison.

The same wraparound laid out in a sofa.

If you've ever wondered how a plantation looks like. The tree with the smallest girth will fetch roughly ₹10k or $120.

People are constantly advised not to plant them but who can control human greed, it always takes over. Nothing but the teak grows in these plantations - no birds nor rats, insects, or snakes. Depressing to be honest.

@anniezaidi They've done the same to many (NGO based) Christian missionaries and (I hear) many Christian colleges. Don't know if it's the same method.

On a related note, been told there's a reason the Pope hasn't visited India in a longg time. /PS: I'm not a Catholic.

Running in and out of it all are children, brief smiles illuminating their exhausted faces as they look up at their flying miracles.
