561 dead

An unknown amount sick

Imagine making a CPAP machine that blows gas and foam particles into peoples lungs

…then giving the consolation of $100 for victims time returning the killer CPAP machines

…then offering a replacement that emits formaldehyde

…but still selling them to other countries, promising you won’t do so in the US because you’re totally sorry you killed people

Capitalism and medical care do not mix

Reading people's layoff notes the last few days, I would like to share some reminders:

  1. Work will never love you back.

  2. "It isn't personal." Ignore people who say that. Your salary, your sense of purpose and work integrity are personal, and when they are taken away without warning, it affects you personally, even if the decision to cut your position was only about money.

  3. Thinking about your emotions through a job loss as grieving can be helpful.

  4. Work will never love you back.

An E-1 in the US Military is held to a higher ethical standard than any elected official in the US. The same goes with the Supreme Court Justices.

We have an ethical dilemma in this country but nothing will change until we hold those in power accountable for their actions the same way we hold an 18 year old adult straight out of boot camp accountable.

As it is now, when we try to hold those in power accountable their poll number skyrocket and they continue to crime.

Trump has attacked Gen. Mark Milley and even called for his execution, if you can believe it.

Gen. Milley is a patriot who served his country honorably, instead of claiming bone spurs.

He’s also likely a witness in the many trials of Trump, including as the alleged author of the top secret Iranian War Plan that Trump waved around to brag to civilians about how special he is. Trump attacks him at his peril, and likely in violation of court orders not to threaten or intimidate witnesses.

    TopKnot,
    @TopKnot@mas.to avatar

Milley is not a patriot. He ignored crimes committed by and associated right in front of him. Only when he was out of office did he speak up. That's the definition of a coward and he didn't swear an oath to be a coward. He swore to uphold the Constitution.

    Get it right, please.
