    This may be a felony (with a 10-yr max sentence). The commission of a felony is not protected by Article I's speech or debate clause.

    This seems like a good opportunity to start seriously planning to look beyond Russian grains, oil, gas and heavy machinery. Treat them like a resource rich North Korea for the next 10 years. And if after 5 years if they are still shitty, extend it another 10 years.

    The quicker they become good citizens of this planet, the quicker trade relations get normalized.
