This is your erratically scheduled reminder that building rock #cairns when you’re out #hiking is not a way to show your love of #wilderness, or a cute little addition to the #scenery. It’s #vandalism at best, and gets much worse from there. Please stop.
Sometimes the light hereabouts takes my breath away. I was out walking on a road with no traffic - it goes across the moor and on to some forestry land - and no one else around. No signs of human habitation. An eternal scene. Been like this for eons. Will be here long after I’m gone.

Nature: the perfect backdrop for pretending to be productive while staring out the window.🌍🌳Today is Earth Day, so let's appreciate this glorious planet before returning to mindlessly scrolling through cat pics.🐾🙃
The Roque Cinchado is the most famous rock formation in Teide National Park. In the background, you can see Teide volcano. I was worried about the large amount of clouds in the sky, but after quietly checking the photos, I think it adds some dynamics. 😶🌫️ What do you think? 😊
This is my first photo of the Milky Way. I was shocked that the Milky Way can be seen with the naked eye. 🌌 👀 I took the photo in Teide National Park in Tenerife, which is one of the least light-polluted places on earth. Enjoy! I will post more night photos. 😊
