Here's a random query. My mom is cleaning her storage and found my old 1978 Kenner Death Star playset and is sending it to me. Mostly complete, including the cardboard slide-in walls. I think in pretty good shape.
Where would one take something like this that is now vintage? I'll inquire with Golden Age Collectibles at Pike Place Market, but they're the only ones that come to mind.
"That's no moon! It's a space station!" - Obi-Wan Kenobi, A New Hope
Happy National Moon Day! On this day (July 20, 1969) 54 years ago, via the Apollo 11 mission, mankind took one giant leap forward as we stepped foot on the moon.
The best #StarWars#novels I've read are by #JamesLuceno, particularly #DarthPlagueis, which should be at the top of any fan's reading list, detailing decades of galactic history leading up to #TPM, from about 65 BBY.
Note that Plagueis is not canon. Some of Luceno's later novels are, including #Tarkin and #Catalyst. Catalyst in particular is notable for being hundreds of pages of #Krennic manipulating pacifist #GalenErso into his work on the #DeathStar.
Oh, that's funny. I don't think GSM/GPRS got a lot of use here, as only VoiceStream -> TMobile used it. Wait, the old AT&T wireless used it at some point, I think, but that was much smaller than the new #DeathStar (Cingular).
