The stunning Whitby Abbey, North Yorkshire.
On the site of the original Abbey built by the Incredible Hilda, a Northumbrian Princess c657. She called the famous Synod of Whitby here in 664.
Just a few more weeks and we'll be hitting my favourite season 🍁🍂
I love the 'bers'
Looking forward to walking in the woods catching some more fabulous woodland scenes like this one.
Edinburgh's new shopping centre, Saint James. The design was highly controversial when first announced.
The finished product is laughingly nicknamed the t*rd... not sure why 😄
Back at the Kelpies, near Stirling, Scotland.
(Kelpie is a water spirit in the form of a horse)
Standing at 100ft tall and weighing more than 300 tonnes each, the magical Kelpies are a man-made feat of engineering by artist Andy Scott.
The amazing Red Arrows, flying at RAF Lossimouth last weekend.
Flying approximately 650-700mph while only inches from each other.
Every show an unforgettable event.
Black Swans of New Zealand.
All the babies lined up with volcanic Rangitoto Island in the background, while mum wanders along behind them with Auckland city in the beyond.
The sun finally attempts to show it's face on another rainy day up in the mountains, east of Glencoe.
As the rain makes its way down the mountains it forms waterfalls and rivers as I watched.
South Queensferry, one of my favourite places for a Sunday afternoon walk. Not always this sunny of course 😄, but cool to see the harbour, grab a coffee and head off along the beach towards Cramond.
The motorbike frog (Ranoidea moorei) is a ground-dwelling tree frog of the subfamily Pelodryadinae found in Southwest Australia.
Its common name is derived from the male frog's mating call, which sounds similar to a motorbike changing up through gears.
Tantallon Castle was built in the mid 14th century by William Douglas, 1st Earl of Douglas. It was besieged by King James IV in 1491, and again by his successor James V in 1527 when extensive damage was done and again during Oliver Cromwell's invasion of Scotland in 1651. It has reminded a ruin ever since.
The sheds at Lindisfarne, Holy Island, Northumberland.
Upturned fishing boats serve as garden sheds for all kinds of storage in this beautiful place, so unique and photogenic.
A moon lit vista of the bridges over the river Forth, north of Edinburgh.
Captured from a late squeezy jet trip to Europe, I always try to get the window seat 'just in case' 🙂
The fabulous Pōhutukawa tree (the New Zealand Christmas tree) coming into bloom.
By Christmas the whole tree will be a mass of beautiful nectar rich flowers.
Meet Karma, my friends Lorikeet, he's so pretty and smart.
